Broker's Comments

So, the first thing you do when searching for the boat that ticks all your boxes is to check out the specification. No need to look much further here – just have a look at all the kit she has listed!

The next thing is “What condition is she in?” Well, check out the photos! I was very impressed when I went aboard. She has been beautifully maintained by her present owner, and for me the acid test is “How clean and tidy is she when in use?” Well, this particular Beneteau Oceanis 281 is as clean as a whistle from stem to stern.

She does everything a yacht is supposed to do, she sails well, she is comfortable, and all the kit (and this is a well specified yacht) does what is it supposed to do. All the lines come back to the cockpit using top-named brands, Lewmar winches, Quay Sails , Z-Spars, and her standing rigging was replaced in 2009.

My impressions? I would LOVE to own this boat - bright, well equipped, easy to handle, beautifully maintained – I cannot think of one thing I’d need to add to her. Viewing is easy, just ring me (07885 521960) and we’ll go along together, I know you won’t be disappointed!
